This gated complex is surrounded by exuberant and lush gardens, it has a 24 hour guard, parking for all homes and guests, laundry and cleaning service even an organic garden cared for by the renters.

The location of Parque Shambhala is a five-minute walk from town, ten minute walk to daily produce and flower markets, Taxis are nearby and cost a dollar per ride around town. The Cotacachi bus service, is not far, and a 45-minute ride you arrive in Ibarra,cost 0. 45 which has an American shopping mall. Or, 15 minutes south to Otavalo,cost 0.25 where you will find a large indigenous market.

The Quito International airport is two hours away by car.

A 5-minute walk from Parque Shambhala will take you to the renowned Relais & Chateau 5-Star La Mirage Garden Hotel & Spa. Parque Shambhala residents are welcome to use all the La Mirage spa facilities as well as the hotel dining room on an advanced reservations only basis.

Rental prices vary from $750 per month to $1,200 per month, depending on the length of stay (short or long-term), the size of the house, and the number of occupants.

Short-term stays are 3-6 months. Long-term stays are 6 months or longer.

One month's rent is required to hold the house.

There is a $200 refundable security deposit.

Renters are responsible for electric and gas which are normally $40 per month for both utilities depending on usage.

Rental prices are subject to change, at the discretion of the landlord, between lease periods.
