The house is built on a dead end road so there is virtually no vehicle traffic on front road. Property line is 600 ft back from medium water line and a beautiful flat sand beach. There is a protected national refuge between the property and the beach so nothing can be built in front of the house. I go to sleep every night to the sound of waves but the protected refuge prevents me from seeing the beach. There is a protected jungle area behind the house so nothing can be built behind it. There is a structure on a neighboring lot which might open soon as an Italian restaurant.
There are wonderful restaurants and first class hotels nearby, many within walking distance.
Playa Guiones is a very upscale community populated mostly by Americans and Europeans.Home of the world famous Nosara Yoga Center. Several American movie stars have recently bought homes here.
This house is also great rental potential...........I rented it once for 10 days at $250 a night.
I can't say enough about the wonderful beach.....warm water....great waves....tide pools......The nearby areas include such recreation as : canopy tours,horse back riding, river tours, fishing and turtle watching at Ostional Beach.
I am entertained daily by monkeys, iguanas, pizotes, racoons,geckos,hummingbirds, tropical birds and squirrels...........
2 1/2 hour drive from the Liberia International Airport.
I spend about $100 a month on water and electricity and last year my property taxes were $148.
This property is really a jewel. The lot alone would sell for $375 a square meter.
